Rogers Video Direct
is powered by Canada's market leader Zip.ca and is practically the same except for a different colour scheme; if you like Zip's system, we suggest you sign-up with the original company rather than add a middleman. See our Zip.ca review for details on the service.
Rogers Video Direct is the largest Canadian-owned specialty video retailer in Canada, with over 300 video stores. Since its 2005 introduction, it has farmed out its online service to Zip.ca, so all discs arrive with Zip stickers, etc.
The one plus that warrants consideration if you have a store nearby is some of the Rogers
tariffs have an option to get a couple in-store coupons each month (for an extra $5), which can be used to rent slower-to-ship new releases direct from the store.
